The secrets of a cruise ship magician The ship had all the glamour of a bygone era, including a suite designed by the Italian actress Sophia Loren, who was one of my idols growing up. The place to enjoy the delights of the Irish pub and music scene with the ever lively shop street providing much of the entertainment. The city is small and easy to walk around and between buskers on the pedestrian streets, Eyre Square, the River Corrib and the Spanish Arch you will have plenty to gaze at. The ancient Cahermore Ring fort has 9ft high walls and is located south of Ballyvaughan. One of the main attractions around is the Aillwee Caves, 4km south of Ballyvaughan. These caves used to contain bears and their bones are now on view in this underground cavern. The cave has waterfalls,stalagmites and stalactites hanging and growing. Aillwee Caves also has a bird of prey centre with several flights daily.

Marleze Kruger Nolan attended the legendary year old Matchmaking Festival in Lisdoonvarna, County Clare, Ireland in September where not only she was introduced to the best of the best country music performers, lively dancing and good fun and food, but also to the legendary Willie Daly — the last Irish traditional Matchmaker. More than 66, people attended this month long festival and some has been going to these festivals for over 50 years consecutively.
Not only did she meet some of the most famous Irish country musicians, but also found it was such a great platform to meet new people and from all walks of life and of any marital status. Marleze received a huge amount of publicity and was in every newspaper, on almost every radio station and on national television, as she was the first ever South African to attend this festival. At the end of the festival, she was offered an opportunity to be an ambassador for the festival in South Africa, thus the reason for this event.
Since her return, the amount of guests wanting to come to the Lisdoon-Africa festival has been growing by the day. Their brands are being exported to South Africa for quite some time as well. The streets ring out with music and song, buzzing with dance, the craic and love for life.
